How to resize FIENIX-DISK if using a Mac or Windows:
In the absence of an ext4 partition resizing utility for Mac or Windows you will need to create two Fienix USB disks. Log into the first disk and use GParted to resize the FIENIX-DISK partition on the second disk. Then use the second disk.

Fienix starts to boot up, but then the system shows only a black screen, a black screen with a cursor, or a garbled image:
There may be a GPU/driver compatibility issue. Fienix-GPU-Bandage may help your system boot to Fienix Desktop. Try using Fienix-GPU-Bandage:
  1. Press CTRL + ALT + F1 to switch from the black/garbled screen to console mode
  2. Log in as username "fienix" (password: "fienixPW"), then enter "su" and the root password "rootAdminPW"
  3. Type "fienix-gpu-bandage" and press Enter
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and reboot
NOTE: If "fienix-gpu-bandage: command not found", then "apt-get install fienix-gpu-bandage" or update your Fienix image to the most recent release.

I'm trying to use Fienix-GPU-Bandage but my system will not switch from the black/garbled screen to console mode:
There are reports that some video cards are unable to switch to console mode when there is a GPU/driver issue that prevents Fienix from booting. If you are unable to switch to console mode using CTRL + ALT + F1, you will need to use another OS or system to manually copy /usr/lib/fienix-gpu-bandage/xorg.conf to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
