DVD Method:
- Download Fienix Installer for Open Firmware
- Burn the ISO to a DVD
- Place the DVD in your system's optical drive and restart
- When the system boots, press and hold "C"
- When you see the "FIENIX INSTALLER" boot screen, press enter to begin the installation process
Note: The installer sets a default username and password. This information is provided on the FIENIX INSTALLER boot screen.
USB Method:
It is possible to install Fienix from a USB on any Apple system running Open Firmware; however, the process can be complex for some users. Therefore, the DVD method is recommended. If you want to install from USB anyway, please review this video: Booting from USB
